Welcome to the HydroSWMM Quick Start Guide. The HydroSWMM program is a powerful analysis and planning tool for stormwater systems. The program has a special built-in CAD and GIS environment, called Albion, in which most of the data capturing, model editing and viewing/interpreting of results can be done.

 

The Quick Start Guide is a short step-by-step guide to master the basic functions of HydroSWMM, as well as some Albion GIS functionality.  For more information and guidance on Albion, please refer to the specific Albion CAD and GIS Quick Start Guides and Tutorials.

 

A more detailed HydroSWMM Tutorial is available, which will guide you through a typical HydroSWMM session. This will include creating a model of an existing system from scratch, analysing/designing the model and finally querying the results.

 

If you are new to HydroSWMM it is recommended that you first complete the Quick Start Guide and detailed Tutorial before using HydroSWMM. The Quick Start Guide and Tutorials rely on sample data files that are provided with the HydroSWMM installation.
