A Swift project, in its simplest form, involves the creation/loading of a model, as well as editing, performing special data operations/analyses on the system and finally saving the model and exiting the program. Even for this simple project certain settings need to be made, e.g. the job name (full and short titles), unit type, project date, extraction date, etc. The project themes and table layouts can also be customized. These basic aspects of the model are discussed below (the more complex model editing and specialized data processing/analysis will be discussed in later sections):
