To start this section, close all models (using Manage Models > Close Model) and active drawing (CAD > Close Drawing, but do not save changes to drawing), and then use Manage Models - > Quickstart ->Create Model  > New.  If you did not close and re-open the program, your current model will automatically become inactive and the new empty model will be made active.

 

Use the following destination and database name for the new model:

 

Documents\GLS\HydroSWMM\ HydroSWMM - My Tutorial Model (SWMM conversion).wlz

 

For the new model and background drawing the geodetic projection also has to be set.  Again load the WGS_1984 Transverse Mercator projection with Longitude 29o (as defined for the previous model).
